Why I Started Life Changes Together

NancyLee, whose life and care inspired Life Changes Together

I’ve always believed the way we treat people matters—especially during life’s uncertain moments.

For more than 12 years, my family and I cared for my mom as she lived with Alzheimer’s disease. With a wonderful team of caregivers, we were able to honor her wish to remain at home through the end of her life.

That experience shaped the way I see support. I learned that it isn’t just about getting things done—it’s about knowing the person, earning their trust, honoring their choices, and helping them hold onto the life that feels like theirs.

Later, through more than a decade of public service, I continued working with people and families and saw another need. So many people didn’t need medical care—they simply needed dependable help, companionship, and someone they could trust.

That’s why I created Life Changes Together: to offer the kind of support I wanted for my own mom — personal, dependable, respectful, and built around the person, not just the task.

Life Changes Together.

What Guides My Work

Grace

Patience, kindness, and understanding guide how I show up. I meet each person where they are and take the time to understand what matters to them.

Dignity

Every person deserves respect, choice, and a voice in how they live. I support independence while honoring their routines, preferences, and priorities.

Trust

Trust is built over time through honesty, reliability, and consistency. I believe in showing up, following through, and doing what I say I’ll do.

Together

Life’s changes are easier to face with support. I work alongside each person and their family to make the next step feel more manageable.

No One Should Face Life's Changes Alone.

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Whether you're planning ahead, adjusting to a change, or simply wondering what

kind of help might make life easier, we can start with a conversation.
